AIM for Global Excellence

An Inspired School

Academic life at AIM is filled with opportunities for our students to share their talents and achievements, and compete locally, nationally or internationally, in a myriad of exciting activities, such as Model United Nations Simulations (including our own MUNAIM), Mathcounts, Destination Imagination, to name a few.

Our students in middle school and high school are encouraged to make a positive impact in their community through the development of Authentic Products and Services.

Technology is one of the main foundations in our educational model. Students use technology to create or build projects in order to demonstrate their learning as well to connect with students around the world always being Global Citizens in a digital world. Our educational model fosters the use of technology focused on the creation of products, services; rather than just using it as a means of consumption.

We are the Wildcats. Our teams are competitive and more often than not, reach semi-final and final positions, whether in basketball or soccer tournaments. In track and field, our students return from competitions with many gold, silver and bronze medals. However amazing these results are, the goals of our sports program are for students to develop skills, teamwork and enjoy the game.

At AIM, the Fine Arts program is a vital component of our students’ development. AIM introduced the Kodaly method in Mexico, providing young children with the foundations for a musically rich life. All students learn to play a string instrument and those willing to go the extra mile, take special classes in violin, viola, cello, guitar, piano, dance and visual arts. Our fine arts presentations and exhibits are “must see” activities that delight and inspire us all.

Student wellness is our first and foremost obligation. When students are happy and develop in a safe and caring environment, their learning and confidence levels soar. Whether it is their social-emotional development, their physical well-being, or the instilment of universal values, at AIM we work hand in hand with parents in this core aspect of their children’s development.

Multiculturalism is embedded in our educational programs by developing awareness and understanding, among our students, of different issues facing our world and learning to respect and celebrate the diversity of people, places and customs from Mexico and around the world, its natural resources and environment. Promoting global citizenship is integrated into our subjects, and celebrated in projects like International Week and Mexico Lindo y Querido and in activities organized by our international families.

Our Middle School and High School students grow gradually and progressively, into self-directed, self motivated and self- regulated learners, pursuing their dreams and talents through the development of Authentic Products and Services from the perspective of different academies seeking to contribute to and improve the world.

Through our Global APS Program, educational and cultural trips are offered for middle school and high school students. Each experience is aimed at educational growth and helping students identify areas that might form the bases of their university career pathways.
