iPAL Systems Philosophy

Under i-PAL Systems, each student can explore, develop, and nurture their skills in the three pillars of an Inspired education: academics, creative and performing arts, and sports during the school day. At AIM, we have further differentiated our curriculums into four learning academies. Each academy offers subject programmes designed to encourage enquiry-based learning and a broad knowledge base. The four Academies are Engineering & Technology, Laboratory Research, Business & Management, and Arts & Humanities. Inclusive in the comprehensive education we offer are activities centred around multiculturalism, which is embedded into each area.

At AIM, we are dedicated to ensuring the well-being and safeguarding of our students. Learners are supported in their physical and mental health with a pastoral approach underpinned by the AIM's commitment to wellness. Educators and the school's pastoral support team assist students in their social-emotional development, character formation, and health awareness, encouraging all children to be confident participants of the school community.

ENJOY Model

We understand that children learn by applying their knowledge to action. To encourage "Learning by doing", students participate in interdisciplinary projects where learning takes place through valuable interactions with others in and outside the classroom through significant experiences and engaging activities. Students can explore, investigate, experiment, discover and create in well-designed lessons. AIM educators ensure a safe and open environment to promote optimal neuro-cognitive, social, and affective development. From an early age, the child understands that they are a global citizen capable of making valuable contributions to their families, school and country while respecting all forms of life on the planet.

APS Model

The APS (Authentic Products and Services) model is centred around school-based projects that gradually grow in complexity from grade 6 to 12. In grade 7, students will have 'academies' as an additional subject, where they will contribute a service to the community to apply the skills learned in the classroom and demonstrate their understanding of their in-class learning.

The APS model's other components are the study of a 3rd language and social integration through the House System. For our high school students, the Career Life Education course may be taken as an additional subject to help with college preparation and life after grade 12.
