A Thriving Community to Support Our Students to Reach New Heights

At AIM, we take pride in our close-knit community of students, national and international families, teachers, staff, and the different generations of successful AIM alumni.

Parents are extremely involved in school life and we value their support. We believe that student success increases when parents and educators work together. Through open communication, partnership, and shared values, we create a nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and a strong sense of belonging. Together, we work hand in hand to empower our students, ensuring they receive the best possible education and opportunities to thrive both within the school and beyond.

We believe that the quality of a school is evidenced through its alumni community. At AIM, we are immensely proud of how well our former students have represented us over the years, having progressed to university and achieved success in their professional fields and family lives. Our aim is to ensure all alumni are valued as lifelong assets to the school community and are nurtured as such, inspiring our current students to work hard toward their goals and dreams.

Our esteemed alumni have achieved remarkable success in various fields, including becoming specialist doctors both in Mexico and abroad, thriving as lawyers, scientists, architects, engineers, renowned CEOs, accomplished writers, actors, musicians, painters, TV presenters, social workers, NGO leaders, and more, all making significant and valuable contributions to society and the broader community.

AIM's Parents' Association plays a key role in our vibrant school community. Committed to serving as strong allies to the school in the education of all children, their vision focuses on promoting participation, facilitating communication, and nurturing a sense of unity amongst the AIM community. Their mission is to enhance the AIM experience by providing opportunities for learning and building a strong home-school alliance rooted in trust and shared values. Our PA is guided by important values, such as Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Citizenship, and Caring.

The Parents Association is organized into different committees formed by parent volunteers, including the Events Committee, Fine Arts, Sports, and Values Program, among others.

Parents and staff collaborate through various channels: Community integration (events), parent support (workshops, conferences), class coordinators (school values ambassadors, helping reinforce a sense of belonging and support within classrooms), and values education through our Character Count Program.

The international families at AIM add a very important multicultural component to school life and are valued by our community. Their goal is to support our school in raising awareness, respect, and understanding for other cultures, as well as to foster lasting relationships among their children and Mexican students who attend our school. In addition, they provide essential support for new families and are welcome, as are all parents, to participate in International Week and other school activities.

I’ve been living in Germany for 14 years now. I now have a family of my own with 2 children and I work at Vodafone, a Global Telecommunications Company. The good English I was able to learn at AIM opened a lot of doors during my life trajectory professionally as well as in my private life. And for that, I thank you so much. I have now learned German, studied for a Master's Degree, and lived in four different cities.
