Committees

The Parents Association automatically includes all parents, and is organised into different committees, formed by parent volunteers.

Executive Board: Formed by President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, its aim is to serve as a link between AIM families and the school, and to promote participation within the school community. It organises events and selects and coordinates the multiple committees to decide upon and organise events during the year. It supports AIM families as needed and raises areas of concern to the appropriate departments within the school.

Coordinator Committee: Coordinators support teachers in the classroom with input from parents while informing families of changes to the classroom or school environment. In this manner, they serve as a communication channel, in which information flows in both directions.

Values Committee: Parent volunteers who, with the school, coordinate the values programme and the activities derived therein.

Events Committee: Plans, organises, and undertakes all events held during the school year.

Sports Committee: Supports coaches by facilitating communication between sports coaches and parents.

Fine Arts Committee: Supports Fine Arts teachers in organising and implementing the different activities planned by the department.

For more information on how to become an active member of the Parents Association, please contact the coordinator in your child’s classroom.

International Families

The international families at AIM add a particularly important multicultural component to school life and are valued by our community. Their goal is to support our school in raising awareness, understanding and respect for other cultures, as well as to foster lasting relationships among their children and Mexican students who attend our school. In addition, they provide essential support for new families and are welcome, as with all parents, to participate in International Week and other school activities.

Alumni Association

We believe the quality of a school is evidenced through its alumni. At AIM, we are immensely proud of how well our students have represented us after they graduate and progress towards university, and success in their professional and family lives.

The Public Relations Department organises alumni reunions and keeps the wider AIM community abreast of upcoming events or general information.
